Top Goalscorer Award went to Stuart Boyd, Supporters Player of the Year to Robert Coulter, Players Player of the Year to Scott McNab and finally the Clubs Player of the Year was awarded to Anton Franchetti. To see the photos from the Awards dinner, please click here Sports Dinner A large audience enjoyed our first Sports Dinner at the Hilton Strathclyde on Saturday evening. The speakers, Alan Rough and Hugh Brown along with our MC Ricky Hutchison, entertained us all with their jokes and stories. The night was a success on the financial side following our raffles and auction. We would like to thank all those who donated items for this event and those who attended the evening.  We are still seeking sponsors for matches and equipment and offering advertising space in the programme. If you are interested please call Alan Bryce on 07960256175. The Dressing Room The club have made a number of recent signings: - John Boyle a forward from Auchinleck Talbot. - Paul McBride, a forward who played with East Stirling last season. - David Clark who scored twice against Harthill at the weekend. - Gary Fleming, a forward signed from Carluke Rovers. - Robert Coulter has been made available for transfer at his own request. |

CLUB HISTORY |

The history of our club can be traced back as far as 1897 when Bellshill Athletic were founded as a Juvenile club who played at Hawthorn Park. After two successful years as a Juvenile club,
Athletic transferred to Junior level. The area had three other clubs at this time - Bellshill Thistle, Mossend Celtic and Mossend Brigade. These clubs have gone out of existence.
During our early years as a Junior club, our homes includedOrbiston Park, Douglas Park and Brigade Park. Brandon Park, in Bowling Green Street was officially opened as Bellshill's home ground in a friendly against Blantyre Victoria in August of 1903. Read more |
