Beith Juniors 2 Bellshill Athletic 0 - Saturday 5th April 2008 - Stagecoach Super League Premier Division
Bellshill made two changes to the team which lost to Dalry Thistle in their last outing with Coultart coming in for the injured Jordan at the heart of the defence with Sichi replacing Felvus up front.

Bellshill had the best of the early exchanges but did not trouble Toropolus in the Beith goal. The home side came close to opening the scoring after 14 minutes when McGarvey pounced on an error by Laughlan to shoot past the advancing McNab but McGeoghan cleared the danger. This close shave awakened the visitors from their lethargy. Boyd and Murray both brought out excellent saves from Toropolus.

Sichi limped off in the 24th minute following a clash with Beith defender S Jack, A Watson came in his place. Bellshill then lost Coulter who was stretchered off following an awkward fall, it was later confirmed he had suffered a broken ankle. Craig Brownlee came on as a replacement for Coultart.

Beith began the second half by taking control of the midfield and took the lead after 57 minutes through the unmarked Simpson who beat McNab from close range. The same player scored a Carbon copy of his first goal after 70 minutes with the Bellshill defence being at fault once again.

Bellshill replaced the out of touch Laughlan with Felvus after 78 minutes. For the last 10 minutes Bellshill made a decent effort to salvage something from the game but the home team stood firm to take all three points.
